Laboratory testing can assist in understanding the type and extent of contamination present at a property. It is not always required but can provide useful data for defining remediation scope or verifying conditions.
If selected, our technician will use any purchased samples as required based on site conditions.
A minimum of four (4) samples must be purchased when choosing this option.
In some situations — such as small, well-defined surface growth — laboratory testing may not be necessary to produce a remediation plan.

All decisions regarding how the allocated time is spent during the site visit are made at the discretion of the attending technician. The technician will prioritise the rooms or areas nominated by the client as concerns, unless additional contamination is clearly visible elsewhere.
Depending on the property’s condition, the technician may allocate time toward cleaning, containment, moisture surveying, or reporting, as deemed most appropriate to achieve the purpose of the assessment.
If extensive mould colonisation is identified, the technician will not undertake full containment or cleaning. Instead, the focus will be on assessing, documenting, and scoping the remediation project.
All recommendations are based on visible contamination, measured moisture levels, and other data collected at the time of inspection.
Reports are intended to provide guidance for remediation only and do not constitute a determination of cause, maintenance responsibility, or insurance liability.
Where cause needs to be established (e.g. to support an insurance claim or maintenance investigation), a qualified roofer, plumber, engineer, or other specialist may be required.
Cleopatra Cleaning & Restoration accepts no responsibility for any limitations inherent in the inspection or reporting process, including but not limited to inaccessible areas, concealed conditions, undisclosed information, or environmental changes occurring after the assessment date.
